About The Artist

I'm a full-time artist working in acrylic, oil and digital mediums. I especially love painting abstracted landscapes and seascapes from around the south east and central Florida where I grew up. You'll find oak and pine trees, waterways and hiking trails, mountains and flowers regular themes in my art.

Art has always been a part of me.  I have vivid memories being six year old entralled with coloring books and finger paints. But my creative torch was officially lit the day my sixth grade teacher praised a palm tree painting I made in her class. For months after all I wanted to do was paint palm trees! I took art classes in college and, later, studied with several noted artists while raising three sons and serving as Creative Director at my local church.

My work has been shown in regional galleries and art shows, in local shops and in the homes of collectors throughout the US and it was recently featured in Stroll magazine.

My favorite husband, David, and I live in Winter Garden, Fl. We spend our free days hiking, boating and hanging out with our especially love the mountains and are currently in learning how to live with our new doodle puppy, Dallas.
